Public transport at the door and a short Uber ride that takes you directly to the historic centre of Porto and the Port Wine Cellars.

Casa Mãe was built more than 200 years ago and was completely rebuilt in 2023, this house intended for the family was sold and abandoned, until Joaquim purchased it in 2020.

Salselas is a parish Portuguese in the municipality of Macedo de Cavaleiros , with an area of ​​36.42 km² ^{[ 1 ]} and 284 inhabitants ( 2021 census ) ^{[ 2 ]} Its population density is 7.8 inhabitants/km²

It belonged in 1839 to the municipality of Bragança , in 1852 to the municipality of Izeda and, in 1874, it was integrated into the municipality of Macedo de Cavaleiros ^{[ 3 ]} .

It consists of the villages of Salselas, Valdrês and Limãos . Its main activities are agriculture and livestock , with the production of milk bovine and olive oil being the main economic activities.

It is known for its traditions, with the ” Pauliteiros de Salselas” and the Rural Museum of Salselas being the most significant cultural references.

The village of Salselas is located in the Azibo Dam Ecological Park .
