The house is situated inside Quinta das Camélias Eco Luxury Resort of 10,000 m2 of agricultural farmland.
Public transport at the door and a short Uber ride that takes you directly to the historic centre of Porto and the Port Wine Cellars.

Things To Do on Your Trip To Porto
Port Wine Cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia
The Port wine cellars are mostly located on the banks of the Douro, but some, such as Taylor’s, Graham’s, Croft or Cockburn’s are a little further away.
Bolsa Palace
The Palácio da Bolsa was built on the ruins of the Franciscan convent that was destroyed in a fire. Its construction began in 1842 and it took almost half a century until its inauguration in 1891.
Porto Wine Museum
The beautiful building is located in front of the river, in the area of Porto known as Miragaia, relatively close to the “Palacio de Cristal” gardens. Nonetheless, it is easier to arrive via the Ribeira.

A large number of camellias blush the path, which can be enjoyed among fountains and sculptures. From these gardens we can see not only the Douro River and several of its bridges, but even the mouth of the river into the Atlantic Ocean.

Convento Corpus Cristi
This convent was built in the 14th century and originally stood close to the river. However, given the frequency with which the River Douro flooded, the Dominican nuns decided in the 17th century to build the church that can be seen today
Hospital de Santo Antonio
Located in the Historic Center of Porto, more specifically in Largo do Professor Abel Salazar, Hospital de Santo António completed, in 2020, 250 years since the first stone was laid.

Joaquim is an amazing hostess. Knowing, friendly and helpful. Responsive. We liked to talk and play with him. His space is 2 blocks on foot of the beach. The pool was isolated and very clean. Everything was provided from soap and shampoo to pool towels and soap. We liked our bottle of wine from the port of courtesy that was produced in your vineyard. We had to go from Uber to Porto when we didn’t want to stay and eat on the beach. Uber was quite easy and its space was 20 minutes from the city center.
Better than in the photos. Super clean. Joaquim is wonderful, very helpful and treats a lot of property. This is not just a place to stay, it is an experience. Comfortable beds, excellent updated bathrooms, amazing air conditioning and the feeling of housing. Very private. The view of water is amazing. Beautiful pool with chairs and umbrellas. Cheap uber trips without car need. A store less than 2 minutes walk for light groceries. Easy walk to restaurants in the ocean. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen had everything we needed. Homemade port wine as a welcome gift. We recommend this space to 100%.
